My most common medium is pipe cleaners, and every figure I make is 100% pipe cleaners to the core. Even the big ones, they're just really heavy.
I constrain most of my figures to 1:9 scale, and the best thing about working entirely in pipe cleaners is that I can make near-everything fully articulated. -
Thank you for your interest, but I do not make pipe cleaner figures for the sole purpose of being sold.

I am currently working on creating a new system through which I can offer commissions. If you have an idea and would like a quote once I reopen, send me an email at dynamo.crux@gmail.com to be placed next on a waitlist.

I've tried, and you may see more experiments on my social outlets. Still trying, there's a lot to learn and I'm excited to continue the journey-- 💫

I've been asked this few times, and still not sure how I'd offer patterns for my figures. If you'd like to see how I create my figures, I've streamed my process in the past and I'm consistently updating my Patreon on all my creative processes!

Dynamo-Gear is the name I use to represent a system where ideas can be thought of as organized by orbiting centers of gravity. Star systems, planets, atoms. Something that ubiquitous-- from the impossibly big to the infinitesimally small- MUST be important; and so I find it useful to organize concepts into orbits around a grander idea or ideas. Things share gravity, and the barycenter might not be just one thing! Social circles are a great example, people tend to just come together.
Dynamo-Gear as a name works because it best represents the ever-changing miasma of information that is the human experience, for me. When people call me "Dynamo," it fits my aspiration to be a source of creative and social energy, continuing to turn among the circles I find myself a part of- among people and the world at large.
I also just like abstract space concepts, electricity, and the use circles in design. Now you know why! -
I don't need to explain myself to you
